What reactions will your branch get when you run a BSAC Try Dive?

Try Dive is BSAC’s annual campaign aimed at raising awareness of learning to dive with BSAC to non-divers.

The campaign will appeal to anyone who is curious about diving, would like to learn a new sport or have always wanted to learn to dive but have never been quite sure how to start.

This year, BSAC’s national Try Dive campaign will run for the whole month of September to give branches more flexibility in when they run their Try Dive night and to enable them to run multiple evenings as needed.

For just £10, Try Dive 2008 will enable non-divers to visit their local BSAC Branch for a try-dive session and find out more about joining the largest dive club in the world.

Participants will pay the £10 fee directly to the branch so not only is Try Dive a fantastic way to get new divers into your branch but is also a great fundraiser for your club!

In the run up to Try Dive month, BSAC HQ will be promoting the campaign via the national and regional media. We will also provide you with all the material you need to promote your Try Dive nights in your own area. We will then take the initial call or online application from interested participants and pass on their details to you.

All you need to do is register your branch to take part in the Try Dive campaign promote your event locally and then run Try Dive sessions for participants, including a pool session and an introduction to your branch.
