Yorkshire Region are offering a full calendar of SDCs in 2008.

The BSAC Yorkshire DL training course will take place again in 2009. Trainee Dive Leaders are advised to undertake Oxygen Administration and Practical Rescue management before the course. The course will take place over 2 days; the Saturday will cover the theory lessons DT1, DT8 and DT12 and the Sunday will cover any 3 of the 6 practical sessions. Note that the next Dive Leader Training days will be held in 2009.

Trainee DLs will need to arrange to do the remaining 3 practical lessons and DP1 and DP2 (dry practical; Dive Management) through their branches. The regional team should be able to help with this. Contact Development Manager Steve Capes (Steve.capes@bsac.com) for more information.

Advanced Diver Training
The highly popular and successful Advanced Diver training will be repeated in 2008. The theory day will cover theory lessons AT1-4 and the dry practical AP1. The practical day will cover the majority of AO1 and AO2 (due to the amount of ascents involved not all will be completed). This will be held in September or October 2008 is there is enough interest. Please email Steve Capes for more information.

The Yorkshire Coaching Team are coordinating many ITS events in 2008. Bookings should be made via HQ using their online system. Use the table below to choose an event.

OWI Preparation events
