Membership Classes enacted under Article 46 (A) (7), as at May 2004.

BSAC Council resolved that the following classes of membership be created in accordance with Article 46 (A) (7).
  1. Student Diving Membership for which any person of the age of 18 or over shall be eligible provided that they are in full-time education.
  2. Junior Diving Membership for any person between the age of 14 - 17 years shall be eligible.
  3. Junior Snorkelling Membership for which any person between the age of 8 - 17 years shall be eligible but which shall not entitle such a member to take part in any activity involving the use of a breathing set.
  4. Junior Membership for which any person under the age of 19 years shall be eligible but which shall not entitle such a person to take part in any activity involving the use of a breathing set or in spearfishing.
  5. Snorkelling Membership for which any person of 19 years or over shall be eligible but which shall not entitle such a member to take part in any activity involving his use of a breathing set.
  6. Youth Membership which shall be membership of a Youth Branch provided for in Article 46 (1) (iv) and for which any person aged 8 to 21 years shall be eligible.
