BSAC Expenses Policy
BSAC is a voluntary organisation and as such it is important that members, including instructors, do not operarate for commercial gain.
The Council of the British Sub Aqua Club acknowledges the amount of effort put in by members at all levels of BSAC activities and would like to ensure that our volunteer workers and staff are not out-of-pocket by undertaking work on behalf of the BSAC.
To ensure this, Council has an approved Policy for the Reimbursement of Volunteer & Staff Expenses.
For formal BSAC Events a standard Expenses Claim Form should be used.
Additional Guidance for Assistant Instructor Trainers (AITs) is available when claiming expenses as part of their induction process.
Branches are advised to used this policy as a guide for when expenses are agreed to be paid to branch officials, instructors and visiting coaches.
