IMMEDIATE ACTIONS ON LAND
 
* Check you and others are safe
* Check responsiveness
* If alone shout for help otherwise send someone
* State condition
* Unblock airway if blocked
* Check whether breathing (for maximum of 10 seconds)

* If breathing put in recovery position and summon help
* Ensure the emergency services are called
* State condition
 
* If not breathing
* Ensure the emergency services are called
* State condition
* 30 chest compressions
* 2 breaths
* Continue at a ratio of 30:2

Rescue Breaths:
Adult - 12 bpm (slow & full) mouth to mouth
Child - 15 bpm (slow & regulated) mouth to mouth
Infant - 20 bpm (gentle puff) mouth to mouth/nose


CPR: Adult Child Infant
On lower sternum 2 hands 1 hand 2 fingers
Compression/breath 30:2 5:1 5:1
Cycles per min 2 15 20
Compresssion depth (cm) 4-5 2-3.5 1-2
