Introduction

Whether you are a complete beginner, or if you have tried diving on holiday, or even if you have already qualified with another diving organisation ... BSAC has a solution for you.

Beginner?
If you want to start from the beginning then we can help you in three different ways. You can -
  • Join one of our 1000+ branches, there's bound to be one near you, where you will get the benefit of learning in a club atmosphere at a pool near you, and then going diving with other club members as part of their regular club activity.
  • Learn at a BSAC Training Centre in the UK, where professional diving instructors will take you through an authorised BSAC course, allowing you to gain your BSAC qualification at times convenient to you.
  • Combine your diving course with an overseas holiday by signing up at one of our overseas centres.
For more details look in our How to learn section.

Already qualified?
If you already have a diving qualification then a BSAC branch can offer you a regular programme of dives and the opportunity to learn advanced techniques and specialised skills. But the real advantage is in having a group of dive buddies who meet regularly, both for diving and social events, with whom you can gain further experience.
To find out how to get in touch with BSAC diving go to GO!DIVE.
To see how far we can take you, look in the Progress your diving section.

Interested in Snorkelling?
For those looking for simpler pleasures, and for our younger members, we have a complete Snorkelling Programme starting from the Ocean Explorer course and going through to Snorkel Instructor. If snorkelling is your passion visit our dedicated site at www.bsacsnorkelling.co.uk
