BSAC KISS Rebreather Statement
The BSAC recognises the International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD) courses for the KISS closed circuit, manual control rebreather.
- BSAC members who hold IANTD Closed Circuit Rebreather certification for the KISS rebreather may take part in BSAC dives to a maximum of 40 metres with air diluent, with a maximum planned in-water decompression of 10 minutes and within the BSAC Safe Diving.
- BSAC members who hold IANTD Normoxic Trimix Closed Circuit Rebreather certification for the KISS rebreather may take part in BSAC dives within the limits set by their certification and BSAC Safe Diving, which ever is the lesser limit.
- BSAC members who hold IANTD Trimix Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver Certification for the KISS rebreather may take part in BSAC dives to a maximum depth of 80 metres whilst using trimix as a diluent gas and within BSAC Safe Diving.
