Branch and Regional News
Your Regional Coaching Team is made up of Area Coaches who prepare themselves for an active season of Skills Development Courses and course facilitation, assisting branches to run their own SDCs.
The Regional team are always looking for assistants and anyone who is wanting to progress their own training and qualifications. If you are interested in joining the coaching team give me a call.
As a region we are hoping to promote new courses that the BSAC are publishing such as Automated External Defribillation, Nitrox Workshops and the new suite of Rescue and First Aid Training etc as well as the usual portfolio of SDC’s that you request.
As a region we also have an active Instructor Development scheme to emphasis clearly the progression and development of Branch Diver Training (Advanced Diver SDC requirements).
This is planned to increase the numbers of Advanced and First Class Divers and to encourage as many people as possible to become Nationally Qualified Instructors (NQIs).
These new NQIs will be encouraged to qualify as approved instructors for SDCs and assist in the perpetuation of the diver training programme in the North EastRegional Coach
