Calling all divers - Go Dive with BSAC!
BSAC is inviting qualified divers who would like to get back into the water and try club diving to take part in the
2008 Go Dive with BSAC campaign.
2008 Go Dive with BSAC campaign. From May 1st and then throughout the summer, Go Dive offers divers who may have trained with another agency or who haven’t dived for a while, the chance to discover just how easy it is to go diving with BSAC.
And anyone signing up to Go Dive this year will receive an exclusive DVD filmed by news reporter John MacIntyre showcasing some of the best dive sites in the UK.
Once registered, divers will be invited to an informal social meeting at their selected BSAC branch where they will find out more about how to get involved and explore the many hidden gems just off our shores.
BSAC represents more than 38,000 active scuba divers and snorkellers in the UK, and has more than 1,100 branches around the country as well as overseas.
“Our 2008 campaign is all about giving divers who have never dived in the UK, or those who haven’t done so for a while, a chance to try diving the BSAC way with club diving at its very best,” said BSAC membership & marketing manager Alison Dando.
Aside from excellent diver training and progression opportunities, the advantages of belonging to a BSAC branch include the year-round social element, the feeling of community, and easy access to years of combined experience and expertise. There’s a family aspect too. Many branches try hard to appeal to all the family by offering snorkelling, barbeques, pool sessions for children and other social gatherings.
Divers are now being invited to register for the campaign.
