Marine Conservation Society 100,000th signature

BSAC Chairman Marcus Allen & MCS Trustee James de Vivenot entering the 100,000th signature.BSAC and the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) are campaigning for Government to create a network of vital Marine Reserves – where our precious marine heritage and wildlife will be safe from harm, giving nature room to breathe and recover from decades of exploitation.

Marine Reserves Now!

Almost nowhere in the sea around the UK is fully protected - just one tiny site at Lundy Island, compared to many thousands of fully protected nature reserves on land.

You can help!

Our message is simple: "WE WANT MARINE RESERVES IN THE MARINE ACT NOW !"
