Launch of the 2008 BSAC Underwater Photographic Competition
BSAC Travel has announced the launch of its fifth annual Underwater Photographic Competition, with online
entry for this year’s competition open from Saturday 1st March 2008.
Attracting entrants from all over the world, BSAC’s popular photographic competition will now run every month from March to December 2008.
Each month, a winner from our two categories – Open for the experts and Newcomers* for beginners – will be selected, along with two runners up. Our two monthly winners will each receive BSAC Shop vouchers and will go forward – along with the two runners up in each category - to our grand final.
The overall winners to be announced at next year’s London International Dive Show.
The superb prizes for this year’s competition are:
Open category:
First prize – a holiday for two in The Seychelles Islands plus five days diving with Big Blue Divers
Second Prize - £300 voucher from Cameras Underwater
Newcomer category:
First prize – A Tony Backhurst ‘Get Wrecked’ holiday for two aboard Typhoon in the Red Sea.
