Club Divers Invite You to Give it a Go

It is easy to breathe underwater - sign up for a BSAC try dive session and you are halfway there.
The Ruislip-Northwood branch of the club has invited any would-be diver to either of two sessions at Highgrove Pool in Hume Way, Eastcote on August 30 or September 6, where full instruction will be given followed by a swim with an instructor.

After a safety briefing and familiarisation with the SCUBA equipment, you will start in the shallow end of the pool and progress at your own pace on a gentle circuit or two of the pool, or stay in the shallow end if you prefer.
All you need to bring with you is a swimming costume and T-shirt, a towel and 50p piece for a changing room locker. If you have a mask, fins and a snorkel bring those too.

After diving there will a chance to socialise with members and ask questions.

Club membership secretary, Mel Armitage said "This is a great chance to get a taste of an increasingly popular sport with members of an internationally recognised organisation that offers an internationally qualified qualification. You will see an entirely new world when you go diving, make new friends if you join the club and learn new skills."

And qualified divers who would like the environment of a club are welcome to come along on the evening and find out about the benefits of BSAC Membership.

There is no charge for the dive, but places must be reserved by calling Mr Armitage on 07956 413924. All try divers will be give a souveneir photograph.
